Meet the Staff

Shari Allen, B.S., C.T.A.

You could say that I have been with Dr. Allen since he started in practice 20 years ago as I am his wife as well as his office manager.  My job is to keep the business end of our office running smoothly.  I oversee our staff and handle patient billing and accounts and generally fill in wherever I am needed.

I have a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Michigan State University and was a licensed Dietitian for about 16 years.  After our son Matthew was born I resigned from St. Thomas Hospital to start helping out part time at our office.  17 years later and I am still helping out.  I am also certified as a licensed chiropractic assistant so I can fill in with patient care when needed.

Each and every day I am blessed to be able to work in an environment where the Doctor and staff really care about the patient’s. I love to see our patients get well and return to our office smiling and happy because we have provided them with excellent care in their time of need.

In addition to being a mom to two teenagers Matt and Taylour and a pre-teen Kristin, in my free time I am a Girl Scout leader for Kristin’s troop and aspired to train my dogs Rowdie, Bayley and Gabby to win titles in obedience and agility.

I am Doctor Allen’s assistant office manager. I have
been with Marshall County Chiropractic for a year and a half. I really love working at the clinic and with the friendly staff, we have all grown to be a family here.When I first came to the office over a year ago, I did not know a lot about chiropractic. I have been truly blessed to learn how chiropractic can help our patients.  I love to watch our new patients come through the door the first time and grow with chiropractic as I did and still do.

I have a loving husband, Thomas Jett and two beautiful daughters.  Tori, who is
six years old, says she is going to take Dr. Allen’s job when she grows up.  My step-daughter Heather, who is nineteen years old, has blessed us with a beautiful grandson, Brayden.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my loving family either fishing, camping, or shopping.

As Doctor Allen’s therapy assistant I have truly enjoyed watching and helping our patients get well. I have been with Marshall County Chiropractic for
6 months and I had never been to a chiropractor before my employment. It has been a very interesting and rewarding experience working with the staff and patients at Marshall County Chiropractic.

I am married to my wonderful husband Josh and we have a beautiful family of five children that keep us busy!  When I am not taking our children to football, cheerleading, softball or choir practice I enjoy just staying home and playing board games or watching TV with them.
